This Privacy Policy explains how VenPod (“we”, “us”) collects, uses, and protects information when you visit venpod.com or use the VenPod workspace. VenPod is a product of TechPond Inc (www.techpond.ca).
Information we collect
If you only browse the public website, we may receive standard technical data such as browser type, pages viewed, and approximate location from your IP address. If you create an account, we collect your username, display name, and password (stored in encrypted form).
Inside the workspace you may save vendor contacts, business-card images, product photos and videos, and notes you choose to enter. That content belongs to your team’s workspace.
How we use information
- To provide sign-in, your vendor catalog, and product records.
- To keep the service secure, including a short captcha on sign-in and sign-up.
- To understand public-site traffic if you enable analytics or advertising tools (for example Google Tag Manager or ads) from the VenPod CMS.
- To contact you about your account if you have given us a way to do so.
Cookies and similar tools
We use a session cookie so you stay signed in while you work. Optional analytics, advertising, or social tools may set additional cookies if they are configured by the site administrator. See our Cookie Policy for details.
Sharing
We do not sell your vendor lists. Workspace data is visible according to your role (your own records, or all records for super admins). We may share information if required by law or to protect the service.
Retention and your choices
We keep account and workspace data while your organization uses VenPod, and for a reasonable period afterward if needed for security or legal reasons. You may ask your super admin to update or remove records you saved.
